350+ Porsches to Gather in Ocean City
The Ocean City Boardwalk will become a spectacular display of automotive history on Saturday, October 17, as the seventh annual Porsche Boardwalk Reunion brings together more than 350 Porsche cars from across seven decades. Models dating from 1954 to the present are set to appear, making it one of the most anticipated car events in the region for Porsche enthusiasts and the public alike.
Event Details: Organization and Schedule
The Porsche Boardwalk Reunion will run from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Porsches lined between Sixth and 14th streets along the iconic Ocean City Boardwalk. The event is organized by Zones 1 and 2 of the Porsche Club of America, with additional support from the Porsche 356 Registry. Registration for the display closed on October 10, with organizers confirming that participation had already surpassed 350 vehicles before the deadline.
Featured Porsches and Special Attractions
This year’s Boardwalk Reunion highlights special categories of Porsche cars, including Outlaw, Safari, and Rally models. While these unique vehicles are featured, cars from any Porsche model year will be on display, offering a diverse array for classic Porsche fans and those interested in modern sports cars.
Porsche Tech Sessions at the Ocean City Music Pier
In addition to the outdoor car show, the event offers free Porsche tech sessions inside the Ocean City Music Pier. These sessions will cover a variety of Porsche-related topics, providing educational opportunities for owners, aspiring enthusiasts, and anyone interested in Porsche engineering and history.
A Growing Gathering for Porsche Enthusiasts
The Boardwalk Reunion has grown each year, becoming a notable event for car lovers and the Porsche community. In the previous year, 355 Porsches were displayed, drawing participants from 30 Porsche Club of America regions and 10 zones. The event continues to attract interest from across the region and beyond, cementing its reputation as a must-attend gathering for Porsche owners and fans.
Porsche Weekend Activities in Ocean City
The Porsche Boardwalk Reunion is part of a larger Porsche-themed weekend in Ocean City. To kick off the festivities, the Scarborough Inn will host its Porsche Porch Party on Friday night, the evening before the main event on the boardwalk.
